Focused on oil changes.
Rock Engines was founded in 2007 in Ujjain by a family that has worked in the petroleum business since the 1960s. It started with a problem we saw every day at our own fuel retail outlet: manual oil changes were slow, messy and hard to check.
Our founder, Mr. Kishore Chhabra, built and piloted the first machine at that outlet in 2006. The idea of a quick oil change point at the fuel station grew into the SERVO Xpress concept, which IndianOil adopted and expanded to more than 10,000 retail outlets across India.
Today we design and manufacture our full range at our own facility in Ujjain: two-wheeler oil change machines, engine flushing equipment and multi-bay systems for cars and heavy vehicles. Our technology is protected by granted Indian patents, and our machines are used by leading oil and lubricant companies and their dealer and service networks.
With 25,000+ installations, we support every customer with installation, operator training and after-sales service across India.

Founder Director
Kishore Chhabra
Kishore Chhabra has spent his entire career in the petroleum business, working with leading oil marketing companies across lubricant distribution, lubricant blending and fuel retail. A multi-business entrepreneur who has run several retail outlets, he has been recognised as a model distributor by various oil companies. He is the mind behind bringing quick oil change centres to petrol pumps: the SERVO Xpress concept he conceived in Ujjain was adopted by IndianOil and has grown to more than 10,000 retail outlets across India. As founder of Rock Engines, he created the oil change machine and the concept around it, and is the named patentee on the company’s patents.

Anupama Chhabra
Anupama Chhabra joined Rock Engines in 2009 and has been at the core of the business ever since. She has built strong, long-standing relationships with officials at India’s leading oil marketing companies, relationships that have been central to the company’s partnerships and growth. Closely involved in key accounts, operations and day-to-day management, she brings continuity, trust and a steady hand to the business, and has remained a pivotal part of the Rock Engines journey.

Sachit Chhabra
Sachit joined the board as Additional Director in July 2017 and leads strategy, product development and market expansion. He brings a management and international outlook to an engineering-led company, with an MBA from K J Somaiya Institute of Management and a programme at DHBW Stuttgart, Germany. He has driven the move from standalone machines to connected systems, digital tools and multi-bay solutions, and now leads the company’s next chapter: taking Rock Engines technology to international markets through distributors and global partnerships.
